Formed in 2007, under the guidance of Owner Guus Leeuw,  ITPassion is an experienced and driven IT support and management company that has  managed software development for customers, large and small, across Europe, expanding into web development, SEO, Social media, app development and all else IT related to help you ensure your systems integrate and run effectively and efficiently. 

Guus Leeuw, the Owner of ITPassion, is a trained software engineer, educated in the Netherlands at the Saxion High schools following the Information & Communication Technology stream, majoring in software engineering, which he completed with a BSc degree with honours in August 1997. He was entitled (as 1 of the top 5 students in his year) to go for a yearlong internship to the US, which he spent at ISE Inc. in Goleta, CA, working on the runtime library of the Eiffel software language.

After his studies, he was hired by Halstenbach ACT in Germany, for his role at ISE Inc in the US. He then joined Computer Science Corporation where he helped Ford Motor Company achieve a paperless dealership network by implementing the security aspects of the new dealership network software that was hosted in Brentwood, but reached dealers in Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

In August 2000 he started working for himself with a role at EMC in Schwalbach, Germany, teaching their technicians and storage consultants all about Perl. This led the industry to believe that he had great knowledge of Storage cabinets and their inner workings. He, of course, did, and landed job after job in that space until July 2014 when he became a project manager as an IBM Contractor in Ireland. He worked as Project Manager for 2 years before going back to his hobby and passion as software developer, working for a subsidiary of AXA Holdings UK, where he was hired (as a contractor) to implement a web-based portal for property insurance quotes and policies
