The role supports in the delivery of expanding the digital presence of ghd while supporting the wider team with engaging new content across a multitude of English and non-English speaking markets.
Support the Global Ecommerce Content Manager in the maintenance and development of new and existing products.
Take ownership of the brand tone of voice across all digital touchpoints. Ensure that the ‘personality’ of our brand is heroed across all written content, providing consistency and attention to detail at every point.
Produce written copy for product launches, web-pages and hairstyle blog content.
Support the Global Ecommerce Trading Manager with the on-site creative look and feel for key trading activity.
Work with the Digital Marketing team to write and produce content that will be used across email campaigns.
Work alongside the PR and Education team to publish and amplify sponsored brand content such as Fashion Week and Coachella.
Working with new emerging markets to maintain and develop the brand only websites, ensuring visibility of the brand in new market placements.
Use the content management systems (CMS) to build out new content onto the website. Making use of creative tools such as Photoshop and Kaltura to assist in creation and upload of content.
Support in the management of Bazaarvoice (ratings and reviews) & Mention Me (recommend a friend) third party relationships.
Work alongside our SEO agency to develop and deliver lifestyle content onto ghdhair.com. Ensuring ongoing customer engagement outside of the purchase cycle.
Develop a test and learn content plan to ensure that our activity is engaging with consumers. Use reporting tools such as Google Analytics (GA) to take learnings from the tests, increasing customers time on site and volume of pages visited
Ability to work under pressure within deadlines
Excellent written skills
Highly organised multi-tasker who is capable of juggling a number of priorities
Has an understanding of and passion for all things digital, ideally with some experience of working on a Content Management System (CMS)
Passionate about the ghd brand, empathy with the category
Knowledge of fashion and premium brand behaviour
An articulate and strong communicator that is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and contacts across the globe
Flexible and happy to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge and experience of Excel and PowerPoint programmes essential
Keen eye for detail and the desire to execute with excellence
Analytical thinker, able to collate and decipher data
A willingness for some travel between our Leeds and London offices
